Thorin Thursday: Advice for RA on Pacing Himself for Upcoming Hobbit Parties and More! 6/14/12 Gratiana Lovelace (Post #207)

Me thinks that copious amounts of commonwealth and U.S. colonial booze will be consumed during the various Hobbit film [(1)] parties and events mentioned so far for this year (not to mention the events yet to be scheduled):

July 7th filming wrap party in Wellington

July 14th Comic-Con three hour press conference in San Diego

September – October  Press, Parties, and what have you yet to be revealed

November 28th Wellington Hobbit Premiere

December 14th US Hobbit Premiere (in LA or NYC?) in 182 days [(2) see countdown clock]

And though we know that Richard Armitage has very long legs [(3) left]–sighhhhh!–I doubt that they are “hollow”.  FYI in the U.S. vernacular, referring to someone having a hollow leg means that they could fill up the leg with booze or food.  So dear Richard, you don’t want the booze to go to your head and make you all wobbly.   The “world’s tallest dwarf” wobbly?    Timber!   Tthhuudd!  He bounced.  Ha!

Besides, this slowed down interview video [(4) below] making Mr. Armitage seem slightly tipsy– when he really wasn’t–is hysterically amusing and charming, but not probably good press for The Hobbit.  Ha!  I have seen the actual real speed footage of this interview and RA is perfectly fine and not tipsy.

So a word of advice to RA and his castmates.  Pace yourselves blokes!   Don’t let the Celts, Scots, Fenians (Billy Connolly, Graham McTavish, James Nesbitt, etc.) [(5) The Dwarfs]   goad you into drinking games or challenges–you’ll lose.  Ha!

And as my good friend Kitty put it, “When I celebrate, I want to experience it [an activity] with complete mental clarity.”  Well put, Kitty!

So, to my readers, please suggest any other humorous advice (picture links welcome) that you would share with Richard Armitage as he is about to be “launched” onto the world film making stage.

Cheers!   Grati  ;->

P.S.  Another suggestion is:   Break in your new dress shoes before you walk the red carpet, you’ll be more comfortable.

About Gratiana Lovelace

Gratiana Lovelace is my nom de plume for my creative writing and blogging. I write romantic stories in different sub genres. The stories just tumble out of me. My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog. And as you know, my blog here is also relatively new--since August 2011. But, I'm having fun and I hope you enjoy reading my blog essays and my stories. Cheers! Grati ;-> upd 12/18/11
