Night after night, the exquisitely talented British actor Richard Armitage gives a 150% performance as John Proctor in The Crucible at The Old Vic Theatre in London–probably leaving him emotionally and physically exhausted. Yet, each night–with extremely rare exceptions for when he must leave on a plane for another professional commitment–he graciously meets his fans at the Stage Door. Richard Armitage is a true storyteller–and that rare combination of a gentleman, a professional, and an artist.
And Richard Armitage remarked in a Saturday tweet, that the final week of the planned performances of The Crucible is upon them:
Wishing Richard Armitage, and his cast & creatives colleagues all the best as they give their final 8 performances of The Crucible this week.

P.S. I was not able to experience this amazing production in person due to cost constraints. But I delightedly look forward to viewing the now planned video and cinema release of filmed performances of The Crucible, per The Old Vic Theatre (Grati’s cap below).
