Remembering that the 10th Anniversary of the broadcast of the BBC’s “North & South” in 2004 will be upon us on November 14th, 2014, here is a lovely little video by Danielle Hernandez reminding us why we are still “Falling in love with” the exquisitely talented British actor Richard Armitage again and again. Have a gReAt day! Cheers! Grati ;->
“The song is Falling by Keri Noble.”
And here are a few of my favorite portraits of Richard Armitage as the honorable John Thornton (courtesy of RANet or my cap):
charmingly awkward just plain charming
boyish family oriented
honest hard working
loving in love
So congratulations upon your upcoming 10th Anniversary of sharing John Thornton in “North & South” with us, Mr. Armitage. You have enriched and gladdened our lives in ways too numerous to mention and more cherished than you will ever know.
And as endlessly appealing as Richard Armitage [below, 2013THDofS German Premiere] is in this and in his many other character portrayals, the gentlemanly man himself who is warm, compassionate, good, witty, humble, gracious, philanthropic, honorable, and a dedicated theatrical artist (be it film, the stage, television or audiobook), etc., he has my deep respect, my admiration, and my very good wishes for his future endeavors.
