About Gratiana Lovelace

Gratiana Lovelace is my nom de plume for my creative writing and blogging. I write romantic stories in different sub genres. The stories just tumble out of me. My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog.     April 4, 2015–Interesting Holiday weekend for us with lessening water temps, then no hot water over the last 24 hrs. And after spending Saturday morning searching about water heaters on the web, it turned out that the pilot had gone out–which we realized “after” I had taken a freezing cold shower this morning, with my long hair shampoo and conditioner rinsing time shortened, leaving tons of tangles. Ha! So, my big thrill is having hot water again–and our not having to buy a new water heater. Ha!

    Yet, this afternoon, I topped that when I held and kissed the adorable baby “baby of our family”. He is really beautiful and precious! Though he is growing quickly, his little foot is still shorter than my thumb. It was hard to pry myself away from he and his sweet Mommy.

    Then for dinner tonight/Saturday night, my hubby and I ate our ham with pineapple, scalloped potatoes, and green bean casserole that we made together. Well, he fished the other half of the ham roast out of the deep freeze for me to thaw, then he opened the pineapple can. Ha! And then I watched the riveting new Outlander episode. It is not for the faint of heart.

    Finally tomorrow/Sunday, we’ll have an all church brunch potluck after services on Sunday with friends and such. At some point Sunay, I hope to get some story chapter editing in. I have a Monday deadline. Ha!

      Thanks, Servetus! Happy Easter to you, too! The water heater pilot light had to be lit again by my hubby. He thinks the thermocouple might need replacing by a plumber. But for now, we’re hanging in there. Ha! Cheers! Grati ;->
