The exquisitely talented British actor Richard Armitage [(1) image right)] tweeted [(2)] that 
he has another film he will be working on soon: “Clearance” also starring Naomi Harris and directed by Aku Louhimies.
Mr. Armitage has starred in both television dramas (North & South, Robin Hood, Spooks, and Strick Back to name a few) and more recently film (as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit Trilogy of films, Into the Storm in 2014, Sleepwalker in post production, and Pilgrimage now filming), as well as a highly successful theatre run portraying John Proctor in The Crucible at The Old Vic in Summer 2014. And this new film will be something else for us to anticipate enjoying experiencing Mr. Armitage in.

“Clearance tells the story of a hardened mine clearance expert Ray (Armitage) and his pregnant partner (Harris), who are kidnapped in South Sudan by a notorious warlord. To secure their freedom, Ray is forced to cross a vast minefield to retrieve a mysterious case for the warlord. The film is set to begin shooting in South Africa in November.
Richard Armitage is represented by Esther Chang at WME and Evelyn O’Neill at 
Management 360. Naomie Harris is represented by Jeremy Barber at UTA.”
Alright, I’m excited! A Richard Armitage love interest that he’s impregnated? Prospective family character arcs are looking up with a baby on the way! Can shots of RA in character changing his child’s diapers be far behind?
And let’s hope that the lovely Ms. Harris [(4) image right] or Mr. Armitage doesn’t get killed off in trying to create a poignant dramatic moment on film. Let them live–think of the sequel possibilities! Ka-ching, ka-ching!
