I watched episodes 3 & 4 of the BBC’s 2004 period drama North & South [left] Sunday evening again with the exquisitely talented British Actor Richard Armitage portraying John Thornton. Sighhh!
Elizabeth Gaskell really knew what she was doing when she wrote this story and published it back in 1855.
I capped the video a bit as I watched it, and I put the images into this collage below:
North & South: A Timeless Story of Love and Devotion
And for added fun for the N&S trivia buffs out there, what dialogue line or scene description would be an apt caption for each of the nine images?
Top row: A,B, C
Middle row: D, E, F
Bottom row: G, H, I
Hope you have a great Monday and start to your week! Cheers! Grati ;->
P.S. And I color corrected the images here and there when the cinematographer seemed to be shooting the scene through a blue haze. Though my media player was a bit wobbly as I capped. So some images are sharper than others. Ha!
