Soothing Sunday:  Richard Armitage as Chop dancing with Anna Friel as Greta in UATSC gif, July 10, 2016 Gratiana Lovelace (Post #936)

Yesterday on Twitter, I shared the talented British actors Richard Armitage as Chop gif dancing with Anna Friel as Greta in Urban and the Shed Crew (UATSC) below.  Thanks to Ultra Veloce for making the gif!  And the more I watched the gif—only three or four repeats (*cough*)—I wanted to share it again here on my blog.

The easy ebb and flow of that gif with Richard/Chop holding/guiding Anna/Greta in their slowly swaying dance is so soothing.  And soothing is something we need now and again.

I will even provide some lovely soothing music to go with the gif:

P.S.  And below is another song for you, just because the music video below also shares a beautiful song in words and lyrics, sung lushly (with a Richard Armitage portraits slide show below it):

About Gratiana Lovelace

Gratiana Lovelace is my nom de plume for my creative writing and blogging. I write romantic stories in different sub genres. The stories just tumble out of me. My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog. And as you know, my blog here is also relatively new--since August 2011. But, I'm having fun and I hope you enjoy reading my blog essays and my stories. Cheers! Grati ;-> upd 12/18/11

Oh too bad! The gif doesn’t seem to be available any more. :( However “Sway” and “Come away with me” are still good and I just LOVE the slide show!! ;) Thanks Grati! I sure needed this after reading about MLC! So sad.

    • Hi Teuchter, Thanks for your note. I replaced the gif URL with a file copy that I had downloaded. So now it works! Yay! Glad that you liked the songs and loved the slide show that I made! It took almost as long as doing a video might. Ha!

And yes, it is unfortunate that Richard Armitage had to withdraw from the film “Mid LIfe Crisis” because filming schedule delays would have runover the dates when his next project is to start. C’est Lla vie! But who know! If MLC delays continue, perhaps they will start filming again when Richard and Toby Stephens (who also had to bow out) are available again. Thanks for visiting and commenting! Cheers! Grati ;->

Thanks Grati! I can now experience the whole thing! ;) I’d seen a clip of them dancing/swaying (sigh) before but it’s even better to watch it with the accompanying music. Wouldn’t we all like to be “Greta” ??
I soooo want to see this movie even if it has to be on DVD. Any way would be acceptable to me right now! :) I just need to see Richard in SOMETHING!!!!! Pleeeease.

        • Hi Teuchter,
Glad that you visited again to experience the gif and the music together!

And I agree with you about wanting to see Richard in something soon–even if it’s on dvd. Though for Richard, it is better that his films are shown in a movie theatre first–or even on BBC tv, which I heard mentioned for UATSC somewhere. And “Pilgrimage” from the screen shots shared so far looks to have sweeping vistas that should definitely be seen on the large screen.

Thanks for visiting and commenting again! Hugs & Cheers! Grati ;->

  3. July 10, 2015–Teuchter has given me an idea with her appeal for “something” of Richard Armitage to be available for his fans to see!

What if we each make our own plastic, fabric, or paper wrist bands with our favorite Richard Armitage film names, logos, and/or RA pix on them of his yet to be released films?

Then we could share a photo of our wrist bands on our wrists online? And depending upon which film projects people are interested in, their arm might have several wrist bands on it. Ha!

I’m happy to collect the images shared and post them as a group here on my blog in a post. And/or we could create a twitter hashtag and share them that way–something like #RichardArmitageFilms or #GetRichardArmitageGlobal (to borrow from the UATSC campaign, Ha!)

Though our individual and collective appeals to see Richard Armitage films might not reach any ears where they might be able to make that happen, it might at least let us expel a little pent up frustration and share in a fun activity (I adore crafts, ha!)–and allow us to wear Richard on our wrists.

    What do you think?

P.S. I might also post this idea as a separate post later this week since it being in a comment might not be seen.

  4. July 10, 2016–For Sam and Olivia shippers–“Love in the Great Pine Woods”–I’ve been in a Tuesday posting groove of late that continues this week.
Not the least of which is that our clothes washer stopped spinning again–so our small wash load had to be strung out by hand by me. And the fix they showed us how to do last time didn’t work. So after much research online today, we decided that replacing our washer was more cost effective than repairing it. And we were able to find a brand name washer at a much reduced price on clearance. It arrives on Monday. Snap!
