Initially, when I saw Richard Armitage’s handsome new selfie with him in a beard and grey suit look for his 2016 Los Angeles promos of his upcoming EPIX produced tv show Berlin Station—to begin broadcasting in the U.S. October 16, 2016–I thought that his grey suit might be an echo of Richard’s 2011 grey suit that he wore to his NYC Captain America premiere.
Let’s take a look. Hmmmm?
Nope! Not the same suit—not even close, different lapels. But the exquisitely talented British actor Richard Armitage looks stunning in each! I especially liked the crisp white dress shirt that he wore in 2011 (right)—which fits with that suit’s seeming a bit dressier due to the look of the fabric’s finer weave. Whereas, Richard’s grey suit in 2016 on the left seems a tad more casual—again, this time, by virtue of the fabric having a seemingly coarser weave—so the polo shirt that he seems to be wearing in 2016 works!
And how can the man be five years older on the left in 2016, but still manage to look younger than his 2011 self on the right? My 55+ self would like to know. Ha! I think his slightly longer hair on top in the 2016 image—coupled with his more closely trimmed beard—aids in Richard’s youthfulness quotient. And we can see Richard’s mesmerizing blue eyes looking directly at us through the camera lens in his recent 2016 selfie on the left. Sighhh!
Below is a short clip tweet shared by Berlin Station@BerlinStation of Richard Armitage talking about the spy thriller series:
There is a lot of buzz about this EPIX produced tv show Berlin Station. And in addition to “official” graphics from EPIX and Berlin Station, fans are starting to create/edit images to share amongst ourselves—but that also help to promote and garner interest in the show. And lucky for us, the talented RA Fan Fernanda Matias (Thanks!) has been busy creating and sharing these beautiful and eye catching Berlin Station posters/wallpapers pasted below:
Hope you have a great day! Cheers! Grati ;->
