So we can focus on the velvety deep voice of the exquisitely talented British actor Richard Armitage portraying Frenchman Raymond de Merville in “Pilgrimage”.   *THUD*!

My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse.     April 28, 2017–Thanks to @mooseturds again, this time for sharing a Collider film review on April 25th of “Pilgrimage” with 3 scans of that article review in its entirety.

    And though the review is only lukewarm about “Pilgrimage”, it does mention standout performances by the film’s three leads–Tom Holland, Richard Armitage, and Jon Bernthal–noting, that they are
    the film’s “…most apparent strengths …” and that they “…set it apart.” So that’s something.
