THUD Thursday—Richard Armitage’s Valentine’s Day Selfie is soooo Dreamy,  February 15, 2018  Gratiana Lovelace (Post #1144)

Richard Armitage’s Valentine’s Day Selfie is soooo Dreamy!

Oh My!

My/Grati’s comment to him:
So sorry to hear about your back! Have you tried putting a puffy pillow under your knees–with your feet flat? It puts your back & upper legs at a more comfortable 135 degree angle.

Happy Valentine’s Day in the meantime!  Hope you feel better soon! Your pix is … sighhh!

That pretty much covers it!  Ha!  Hugs & Love everyone—and especially to an in pain Richard Armitage!

About Gratiana Lovelace

Gratiana Lovelace is my nom de plume for my creative writing and blogging. I write romantic stories in different sub genres. The stories just tumble out of me. My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog. And as you know, my blog here is also relatively new--since August 2011. But, I'm having fun and I hope you enjoy reading my blog essays and my stories. Cheers! Grati ;-> upd 12/18/11

My first thought @ seeing this was, “Photoshop much?” I notice that Richard likes to “iron out” those beautiful crinkles around his eyes and make his thin lips look fuller when he posts a selfie. Also, in this particular pic, the angle affords a good view of how he might look as a baldy (all my own views, of course).

    • LOL! Oh Kitty, I have missed you! Glad that you’re back from your trip! Woe betide any actor or actress in your sights who has gotten “freshened”, merely had a really good facial, or is rested up from a vacay. Ha!

In this case with RA’s new selfie with him lying down on the floor, I thought gravity was helping him facially–at least on his right eye with the bright lighting obscuring his crinkles. But I can see just a teensy bit of his left eye crinkles in shadow–so perhaps a trick of the lighting helps make him look younger. To me, when RA’s facial expression is calm–as it is here, with gravity also smoothing him out, or when he’s bulked up muscularly for a role, Ha!–he looks younger. And when he smiles radiantly, his crinkles come into play–but I don’t ascribe the crinkles to him being old, because he has had them forever. Ha! And he has a glorious smile–crinkles or not. And his lips are on my radar, mostly when they’re in motion, as JT with MH. Sighhh! Full or thin lips, he looks like a great kisser. Ha! He looks gorgeous, even with my eyes closed–maybe, especially then. *wink* Hugs & Cheers! Grati ;->

P.S. And for full disclosure on how “I” try to artificially improve my own appearance, I:
tweeze/pluck more than just my eyebrows, use light foundation on my face to cover my slight rosacea, use mascara to lengthen my lashes and then feature them with eye shadow and eye line (but subtlely, in natural tones), and dye my hair (though my graying hairs are sparse, as my mother’s was, so I’m mostly still a reddish brunette). Oh, and my parents gave me the gift of orthodonture when I was young–which specifically corrected my eye teeth that hadn’t moved down into place since my baby teeth there just refused to fall out. So I had two pairs of teeth there with each eye tooth and it’s baby tooth companion. And with my orthodonture, they also had to remove 4 molars when I was in 6th grade because my mouth was too small–not even counting my four wisdom teeth that had to be pulled later when I was in my thirties. Ha!
