The U.S. needs to immediately reunite the seized immigrant children with their families. Anything less is inhumane and disgraceful.
Three of our former First Ladies weigh in on the Trump Administration policy of separating children from their families and seizing and incarcerating the children when they cross over the U.S. and Mexico border:
Michelle Obama retweets Laura Bush:
Secretary Clinton shares her outrage:
The crux of the matter is the crisis of children being imprisoned:
And it gets worse, with babies and toddlers held in “tender age centers”, isolated from their families:

An excerpt:
“Doctors and lawyers who have visited the shelters said the facilities were fine, clean and safe, but the kids — who have no idea where their parents are — were hysterical, crying and acting out.
“The shelters aren’t the problem, it’s taking kids from their parents that’s the problem,” said South Texas pediatrician Marsha Griffin who has visited many.
Alicia Lieberman, who runs the Early Trauma Treatment Network at University of California, San Francisco, said decades of study show early separations can cause permanent emotional damage.”
We ask ourselves, what can we do as individuals to help save the immigrant children seized by the U.S. government? One method is by voicing our concerns to people who can make a difference by contacting our elected representatives–and telling them that we want them to set aside politics and personal gain now and reunite families, and abolish the cruel and inhumane family separations law/policy/procedures that the current administration is using to try to control and deter immigration to the U.S.
And listed below is the U.S. government web site where you can find out what your elected representatives are doing, and there also search links to contact them: https://congress.gov/
I have already contacted one of my U.S. Senators about this issue. Your turn.
