Do you have a “go to” Richard Armitage tv or film dvd, audiobook, etc., cued up so you can hit play easily, and then sit back and sighhhh?
Mine is the last five minutes of “North & South”, the train station scene–that I have cued up on Netflix from the last time that I watched the whole series last Summer. It is so sweetly romantic–yet tenderly passionate. Sighhh!

My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog. The feelgood RA go-to is also N&S for me. Or the Vicar of Dibley (“the sum of one kiss… with tongues” – pity they don’t show the actual kiss…). ;)
My more dramatic go-to would be Strike Back or The Crucible.
