Wild Card Wednesday! Richard Armitage Lucas/JP Pressure Smouldering/Soothing Moves in JulietD001 video, October 03, 2018 Gratiana Lovelace (Post #1187)

My day Tuesday:  Awaken at 5:00am, take anti-muscle spasm pill and two ice paks, return to bed to doze for 30 more minutes, shower and primp for the day, go to the office, finish projects amongst last minute requests for my assistance, let out dogs and feed them at lunchtime, finish more office projects in the afternoon, after work pick up medicine refills at one pharmacy/store, then go to a different store to buy groceries (pumpkin donuts are in season!) and supplies, pick up/make dinner, binge watch “The West Wing” over dinner, start laundry, pay five bills online or by check, reconcile checking account until 10:30 pm, restart the clothes dryer several times with pliers to turn the knob spindle since the knob broke off last week and I haven’t gone to the knob store yet (no giggles, please, Ha!), set checkbook with new check pad (for hubby to use with our dogs vet appt today, and two of the bills payments for him to mail) on the clothes washer (all knobs work here, snap!), sleep for 5 hours, wake up at 5:00am.  Repeat.

Most week days can be full of stress and pressure with the everyday practicalities of our lives.  And I think women, especially, have responsibilities that we have to juggle between our personal, professional, and civic/volunteering activities in our lives.

Feeling pressure?  Me, too!  You bet! And sometimes, we need to let off a little steam.

So lets enjoy this Richard Armitage character video  by JulietD001 (Thanks!) for all of Richard’s Lucas North and John Porter soothing smoulder.  Sighhh!

Have a gReAt day! And remember, the weekend is only 2.5 days away.  Hugs  & Cheers! Grati ;->

About Gratiana Lovelace

Gratiana Lovelace is my nom de plume for my creative writing and blogging. I write romantic stories in different sub genres. The stories just tumble out of me. My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010. The exquisitely talented British actor portraying the male lead John Thornton in North & South--Richard Crispin Armitage--became my unofficial muse. I have written over 50 script stories about love--some are fan fiction, but most are original stories--that I am just beginning to share with others on private writer sites, and here on my blog. And as you know, my blog here is also relatively new--since August 2011. But, I'm having fun and I hope you enjoy reading my blog essays and my stories. Cheers! Grati ;-> upd 12/18/11

    Thanks for sharing a bit of your day. I find there is so much to juggle that there is little time for myself (or for blogs!)

    • Hi SueBC,
      Thanks for your kind note! Same here. Now that I have been back to work for a year–after my leg surgery–I’m at full time plus these days. Ha!
      However, my hubby and I have decided to give ourselves a “present” every Friday. Our local university has a fresh produce program that we signed up for–we paid a flat rate and pick up a new bag of mystery produce every friday. I’m learning about lots of new vegetables and fruit–and how to prepare them.
      One of the fruits today was something called a jicama–supposedly a cross between and apple and a potato, which is pretty close. It has a hint of sweetness to it and a soft yet crunchy texture–sturdy enough for dipping. So I’m having some jicama tonight and squirted with one of the limes that they also gave us.
      Cheers! Grati ;->
