Wow!  Congratulations to the multi-talented British actor Richard Armitage for recently being awarded an Honorary Degree as a Doctor of Letters from the University of Leicester, in his hometown of Leicester, England!  For more on the big day, visit this hometown feature article here.

My resurgence in creative writing occurred when I viewed the BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North & South in February 2010.
